Kenya Migration Safaris – This 15-day safari trip will let you see Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. You can visit Bwindi Forest and Kibale Forest National Park to see gorillas and other types of primates. While on the tour, you can relax and rest at Lake Bunyonyi, which is the deepest lake in Uganda. The lake got its name because it is home to many small birds that live and feed there. 

Afterwards, the tour will surely take you to Kenya where you can have an amazing time observing animals in Masai Mara and Nakuru national park, and also explore the city of Nairobi. There will be another trip to see animals in Tanzania’s Ngororo crater conservation area and Serengeti national park. Sharing the love for gorillas with other primates and wildlife is a really special experience in life that is difficult to forget. Safari Africa

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to Kibale National Park - Kenya Migration Safaris

After you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, you will receive information about your 15-day safari in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Then, you will be taken to Kibale forest to go on a chimpanzee trek. As you drive in the countryside, you can appreciate the beautiful views of nature, see the houses made in a traditional way and spot different types of pretty birds. Take a break and have lunch in Fort Portal town, which is known as the tourism capital of Uganda because of its beautiful scenery and attractions. You will reach your accommodation in the Crater lakes area to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk - Kenya Migration Safaris

After you eat your breakfast, you will go to the office in the park. They will tell you about going on a walk to see chimpanzees. You start searching for the chimpanzees in the park at 8:00am. These animals are quite like humans and share 98% of the same genes as us. There are different kinds of monkeys that you can see along with the chimpanzees. There are many types of monkeys such as L’Hoest monkeys, golden monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red tailed monkeys, and bush babies.

To find the chimps, we only need to listen for their loud noises and go to where the noise came from. You can see them eating, having fun, and spending time together. In the afternoon, you will visit the Bigodi swamp. This is a really good spot to see monkeys and birds. The people who live there look after it and earn money from it. There are many types of birds here, such as the big blue turuco, and many more. You can also see many animals like baboons, mongooses, otters, pigs, and deer in that area.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Kenya Migration Safaris

After eating breakfast in the morning, we go straight to Bwindi through the ishasha sector where you can see a lot of lions climbing trees. and also for the next 15 days, we will be going to Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. This is the only spot in Africa where you can see lions that climb trees. You will also see many animals like monkeys, birds, kobs, and antelopes. Come to the park in the afternoon and have a nice walk in nature where you will see many animals like monkeys, elephants, birds, and more.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking, Batwa Experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi - Kenya Migration Safaris

Eat breakfast in the morning, then go to the park office to learn the rules of gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The rangers will come with you to the rainforest and assist you in searching for the friendly giants. Sometimes, this walk can be hard and needs a very strong person. People who go hiking should always bring raincoats and boots because the weather there can change a lot. There are workers who can help people by carrying their bags, but they ask for a little money in return. When you see the gorillas, the rangers will teach you how to communicate with them. They will ask you to keep a distance of 6 meters while you observe them play.

Long Gorilla Trekking

It’s hard to predict how long gorilla tracking will take because it varies based on where the gorilla family is located. Some families live a long way from the park headquarters. But, it usually takes 2 to 8 hours to see them and the rangers will always be there to assist you. It is suggested that trackers should be physically fit before they start tracking. After you are done walking in the mountains, go back to the place where you are staying to eat. In the afternoon, you have the option to visit the batwa community and see their cultural show before going to bed at the lodge.

After that, you will return for lunch and then depart to go to Lake Bunyonyi. The lake has pretty hills around it, and the hills have green terraces on them. These hills are very high, with heights ranging from 2,200 to 2,478 meters. But the most unique thing about the lake is that there are 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered all over the water. These islands are so beautiful and captivating that you could spend the whole day enjoying their beauty.

Day 5: Travel to Entebbe and Fly to Nairobi - Kenya Migration Safaris

Today, you will get to see Chimpanzee Habituation in Kibale Forest National Park. You need to come to the main office of the park at 6:30 in the morning for a meeting. Guided by an experienced ranger, you will begin walking into the forest to search for the chimps as they wake up from their beds. After that, you will watch a group of chimpanzees.

 You will see how they find food, have babies, play with their babies, talk with each other, and relax. You will learn how to recognize animals by their special marks, scars, or other unique features that make them different from others. There are 4950 chimpanzees in Uganda. Kibale Forest has the most with nearly 1500 chimpanzees. In the afternoon, following your tracking activity, you can choose to join a guided walk in either the swamps of Bigodi or a nearby village.

Day 6 :Nairobi City Tour and Transfer to Lake Nakuru - Kenya Migration Safaris

After you finish eating breakfast, you will visit the city of Nairobi, which is located in Kenya. After that, you will be brought to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive will bring you through the Great Rift Valley and down to its lowest point. The park is famous because it has many birds and a large amount of flamingoes. It’s a place where Rhinos live and you can see both black and endangered white Rhinos. Please arrive at the Lodge on time for your lunch.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Masai Mara - Kenya Migration Safaris

Having breakfast in the morning at the hotel. You can reach the famous Masai Mara National Reserve by traveling through the Great Rift Valley. Please make sure you come to the Lodge on time for lunch. After we eat lunch, we will take a trip in the afternoon to see some well-known animals such as rhinos, elephants, buffalos, leopards, wildebeests, and lions. Please come and have dinner at your accommodation.

Day 8 - 9: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara - Kenya Migration Safaris

You will spend the entire day at the Maasai Mara game reserve. Driving across the flat land to find big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. We will have a picnic lunch at the Mara River spot. Many wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle move in large groups across the grasslands during the yearly migration. This is when they travel from the Serengeti to the mara plains to find fresh and plentiful grass to eat. You can also see other simple games like the topi, heartbeast, and eland. Day 10: Travel to Serengeti Via Isebania Boarder - Kenya Migration Safaris

Our driver and guide will be with you throughout your entire holiday at Isibania and will warmly welcome you. If you arrive in the morning, you can go on an afternoon excursion to the tented camp in Central Serengeti. But if you arrive later in the day, there won’t be any activities planned for the afternoon or evening because the schedule is already full.

Day 11-12: Game Drive in Seronera | Serengeti Central -Kenya Migration Safaris

After eating breakfast, we will leave to go on a picture-taking adventure in the Serengeti National Park. With a camera, you can take photos of many amazing animals like wilderbeests, zebras, lions, bufalo, leopards, hyppos, and elephants in a stunning place on earth. You can have a packed lunch at noon, and dinner will be served when you return to the lodge at sunset. Nothing else is planned for the day – Kenya Migration Safaris

Day 13: Ngorongoro Crater Drive - Kenya Migration Safaris

After eating breakfast, we will leave early in the morning for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will go from the top of the sleeping volcano to the inside hole and see the pretty plants and animals up close. A lunch will be ready at twelve o’clock.

Day 14: Ngorongoro Highlands - Kenya Migration Safaris

After eating breakfast, in the early morning, we will leave for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend into the crater of the volcano and see the beautiful plants and animals up close. You can get a lunch at noon – Kenya Migration Safaris

Day 15: Travel to Arusha - Kenya Migration Safaris

After you eat breakfast, go to the airport if your flight is in the morning or early afternoon. If your flight is in the late afternoon or evening, you will have the whole morning to visit the city. You will be taken to the airport in the afternoon, after having lunch. So our Safari is coming to an end – Kenya Migration Safaris
