Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park - Uganda Hiking Safaris
Leave Kampala and go to Kisoro to visit one of the small but important parks. You will have a nice lunch when you stop during your journey and see the beautiful scenery of western Uganda. Have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Mountain Sabinyo Hiking (3669 meters) - Uganda Hiking Safaris
Simplify: After you eat breakfast, take your packed lunch and don’t forget to bring water to drink. Then, start your hiking journey to Mt. (name), which will take around 8 hours of hiking. Sabinyo, you will have a great time in Uganda, DRC, and Rwanda at the same time when you reach the top. From the top of the mountain, you can see a beautiful view of the land surrounding the slopes of the mountain. Have dinner and stay for the night.
Day 3: Mountain Gahinga Hiking (3474 meters) - Uganda Hiking Safaris
Get your breakfast and lunch ready and bring water with you. Stretch your muscles before starting a 6-hour hike on clean bamboo trails to Gahinga peak. Along the way, you will also see a beautiful swamp that used to be a crater lake. Dinner and sleepover.
Day 4-5: Mountain Muhavura Hiking (4127 meters) - Uganda Hiking Safaris
On the 4th and 5th day, you will wake up, eat breakfast, and go to Gahinga to the bottom of Mt. Muhavura is a mountain and there is a camp at the base of the mountain called Muhavura base camp. The hiking will begin at the highest point of the volcano where you can see the beautiful view of the top of the Virunga volcanoes and the peaks of Mt. n Rwenzori and Lake. Albert is in Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth national parks. After that, eat dinner and stay overnight.
Day 6: Transfer Back to Entebbe
Wake up and have a great breakfast before you leave the lodge. Then, go to Entebbe and stop at the park headquarters. You can visit the craft shops there and buy a souvenir. Finally, go to the airport and catch your flight back home.
