Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, get ready for an exciting drive to Kibale Forest National Park, the primate capital of the world. The Hunting Guide will give you an overview of the entire trip to Kibale. You’ll have lunch along the way and while admiring some of Uganda’s beauty, be prepared to explore more at your destination. Upon arrival, you check in and have dinner and overnight at the booked accommodation.
Day 2: Chimp Trekking in Kibale Forest
The day begins with an early breakfast, followed by a forest walk in search of chimpanzees. It will take you about four hours, after which you will go to lunch. There are other primates to observe along the trails such as baboons, colobus monkeys, wild boar, beautiful Ugandan birds and butterflies. Then return to the guesthouse for a meal and overnight stay as you get ready for Gorilla Tracking.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Forest For Gorilla Tracking
After breakfast, head to Bwindi National Park for Gorilla Tracking, where you can experience remarkable gorilla hiking. You will have lunch on the way, then arrive at Bwindi, check in at the booked motel for the night.
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
Today, after a delicious breakfast of packed lunch and drinks, head to the introduction point where you will begin your experience. Make sure you are fully prepared for the trip. After the next activity, return to your hostel for a shower, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer Back to Entebbe
Breakfast then depart from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with lunch en route and a short stop at the Monument to the Equator. You will then be transferred to a motel or airport for your return flight.
