When you arrive at Entebbe airport, our driver will greet you and take you to the guesthouse. It will only take about 10 minutes to get there. If you come at night, there won’t be as much traffic on the road. When you get to the guesthouse, the staff will greet you.

Day 2: Lake Mburo - Uganda Safari Trips

Today, you will have a yummy breakfast from Uganda and get to taste some tasty fruits. After you eat breakfast, it’s time to begin your exciting journey. You will drive to the equator first and have lunch or a small meal. Afterwards, you will go to Lake Mburo National Park. Arriving in the late afternoon, you will have the opportunity to go on your first game drive.

Day 3 - 5: Lake Mburo - Lake Bunyonyi - Uganda Safari Trips

Hi In the morning, we will go on a walk where someone will show us around. It will last for about 2-3 hours. During our walk, you will get a close-up view of the zebra and other animals. After we eat lunch, we will go directly to Lake Bunyonyi. You will go towards the southern direction and as you reach the lake, you will see why this place is known as the African Alps. At the lake, you can take a break and get ready for the gorilla tracking. You can choose to do different things here, like going on a boat ride, visiting Punishment Island, or going to the local markets.

Day 6: Mgahinga To Bwindi Forest - Uganda Safari Trips

After you eat breakfast, you will go in a car to the meeting place in Mgahinga National Park. Here, the rangers will give you information and then you can begin looking for golden monkeys. Mgahinga National Park is a place with lots of mountains, so it’s a good idea to wear special shoes for hiking and use a stick to help you walk. Once you’re done with this exciting experience, you’ll travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to get ready for your next adventure.

Day 7: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Uganda Safari Trips

Today we will have a big, filling breakfast early in the morning so that we have enough energy for our gorilla trekking activity. We need to go to the ranger station before 8:00am to sign up and get information about the trek.

The leaders will then show you around the forest. You’ll go through the plants and bushes to find the gorillas. Please keep in mind that this hike can last anywhere from half an hour to 5-6 hours. Be somewhat fit and have good walking shoes.

Sit in the forest with gorillas and hear them communicate with each other. Be amazed by how big the dominant male, called the silverback, is. It feels amazing to be in the thick rain forest knowing that you are only a few feet away from the last mountain gorillas. It’s really sad and incredible to think that there are only about 950 of these pretty animals remaining.

Day 8: Queen Elisabeth National Park - Uganda Safari Trips

Today, you will go to Queen Elizabeth National Park on a drive that will take about 4 to 5 hours. The drive will go through the mountains. This area of the park is well-known for lions that can climb trees.

The game drive will finish at about 11:00am. In the afternoon, we will take a boat ride to see the bottom of the waterfall. You can get off the boat here and walk to the top or go back to the dock. Later, the guide will come and take you back to the lodge by driving you in a vehicle.

Kotido is where the Jie people live, and they are part of the Karamajong tribe. The Jie people have kept their old-fashioned way of living. During the time when people would steal cows, they were famous for being very brave and having fights without being afraid. A lot of people live in the biggest village in East Africa called Nakapelemoru. It is made up of hundreds of homes where people stay. Today, you will go to this village and get to know some of the people who live there. This project in Karamoja helps people make money and the communities benefit when you visit. After you finish eating, you will need to get in a car and go to Moroto.

Day 18: Sipi Falls

Sipi Falls are a beautiful and natural attraction located in Uganda. They consist of a series of three waterfalls that cascade down the slopes of Mount Elgon. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery and offer a peaceful and serene environment for visitors to enjoy. Sipi Falls is a popular destination for hiking and nature enthusiasts, as there are various trails and viewpoints that provide stunning vistas of the falls and the surrounding landscape.

It is a great place to relax, take in the natural beauty, and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
After getting a good sleep, you will go on a walk to the highest point of Sipi Falls. As you climb up, you’ll be able to see the beautiful landscape below you and even have the opportunity to swim in a natural pool. After we eat, we will go see a coffee farmer who lives nearby. People really like the coffee from Mount Elgon because it is very good.

Day 19: Transfer Back to Entebbe

After you eat breakfast, you will go to a place called Entebbe to get ready for your trip back to your house. During your journey, you will take a break for lunch to rest your legs or purchase some last-minute souvenirs. Our guide will take you to the airport two hours before your flight leaves.
