Africa Kenya Safari Highlights

Masai Mara, Kenya, May 19, 2017: Tourists in an all-terrain vehicle exploring the African savannah on safari game drive

Day 1: Arrival at Jomo Kenyata International Airport - Africa Kenya Safari

When you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, someone from Paradise Adventure Vacations will be there to meet you. They will take you to your accommodation in a peaceful area called Karen, which is a suburb of Nairobi. Karen is named after a famous author, Karen Blixen, who used to live there.

Hotel Rudi is near many popular places for tourists to visit, such as Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre, the Elephant Orphanage at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the Karen Blixen Museum, and the Bomas of Kenya. You can visit these sites today depending on when you arrive. But you have to pay for all the activities today.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park Game Drive - Africa Kenya Safari

Today at 8 am, the guide from Paradise Adventure Vacations will come to your hotel to pick you up. Today, we are going to a special place called Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive is really beautiful, and there are nice places to stop and see, like Thomson Falls and the viewpoint of the Rift Valley.

The lovely Lake Nakuru National Park is located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by forests and grassy plains. You will like the different kinds of plants and animals, and also the different places to live in that go from Lake Nakuru itself. Lake Nakuru National Park is a great place to go on safari, watch birds, and go hiking.

When you are at the lodge, you will have lunch and relax. Then, you will go on an afternoon safari when it is a bit cooler and the light is very pretty. Keep an eye out for animals like lions, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs, and other types of wildlife.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara - Africa Kenya Safari

After you finish eating your morning meal, you will visit the well-known Masai Mara Game Reserve. The place is in the southwest of Kenya, close to Tanzania. The Masai Mara is a beautiful place with stunning views, wide open spaces, and many animals throughout the year.

From July to October, over two million Wildebeest travel from the Serengeti in Tanzania to this location to live for a while. You will be at the Amani Mara Camp for the next three nights. It is a very beautiful place to stay.

This lodge is situated in a beautiful location in the Masai Mara. The place has beautiful sights of the area and you can spot many different animals such as wildebeest, zebras, lions, and cheetahs. Safari in Kenya is all about discovering and enjoying the wild animals and natural environment. This is a trip where people can see and discover the animals and plants that live in the natural environments of Kenya.

After you have finished eating your lunch, you can take a stroll and explore the area around you. An experienced person will take you on a walk in nature to teach you about the small habitats in the forest. In the area, there are many different kinds of plants and lots of birds that you can see.

Day 4, 5: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara - Africa Kenya Safari

The sunrise is a great time to watch animals because they are usually very active in the early morning when the sun is shining on the savannah. Not a lot of animals hunt when it’s hot outside, so the morning is the best time to watch them chase their prey or see what they do after catching something.

You can either bring your own lunch for a long day of looking at animals, or you can return to the camp to eat and then go back out in the afternoon.

Day 6: Boat Cruise on Lake Naivasha - Africa Kenya Safari

Before you leave the Masai Mara today, the lodge will ask you to plant a tree. Clearly, the area surrounding the lodge used to be very dry, similar to a desert. This lodge owned by a family has grown a whole forest by using sustainable practices and taking care of nature. This has helped to bring water and wildlife back to the area.

Planting a tree you own is a good way to repay the land that has given you something in the last few days. After you finish eating breakfast, you will continue to travel east towards Lake Naivasha.

The lake has many different animals living in it, like hippos. It is a freshwater lake, so there are also lots of fish like Black bass, Tilapia, and Crayfish. These fish attract birds that eat fish, such as Long-tailed and Great Cormorants, Fish Eagles, Pelicans, and different types of Kingfishers. Finally, today you will have the opportunity to go on a boat tour and see the animals that live in the lake – Africa Kenya Safari

Day 7: Return to Nairobi - Africa Kenya Safari

Finally, enjoy the last African sunrise today and the peace and calmness of nature surrounding you. If your flight leaves at a certain time, you may have some extra time to do something fun near Lake Naivasha or in Nairobi.

You need to pay for all activities today. Your driver/guide will help you get to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. So our Safari is over.

Thank you very much for choosing Paradise Adventure Vacations specifically. I want to see you again – Africa Kenya Safari
