Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport - Safaris Uganda

When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, the driver/guide from Ganyana safari will welcome you and take you to your accommodation in Entebbe. This will allow you to rest after your long journey. Enjoy the nice wind from the lake while you unwind at your hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Gulu Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Safaris Uganda

A safari driver/guide from Ganyana will come to your hotel in the morning and take you to Nakasongola where you will have lunch. After that, you will go to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which is a safe place for rhinos. Discover the beauty of white rhinos and enjoy watching birds in the area. Afterwards, keep going on the road to Gulu until you reach your hotel. You can relax and have dinner there.

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo National Park - Safaris Uganda

To go to Kidepo National Park in Uganda, you have to travel a long way through a remote and wild area called Karamoja. It may be isolated, but people who make the journey say it is the most beautiful and amazing national park in Uganda. Kidepo is considered one of the best wilderness areas in Africa.

From Apoka, which is in the middle of the park, there is a large savannah that stretches far beyond the official park boundaries. The savannah goes towards the faraway mountains. Afterward, have fun on a drive to see animals, and then go to the lodge for dinner and stay the night.

Day 4: Game Drive and Cultural Visit - Safaris Uganda

Go on a trip to see animals and take a walk to learn about different cultures. Go on a long drive to Kanangorok Hot Springs and get ready to take lots of pictures and maybe see more animals, like lions, sitting on the rocks looking for food. In the afternoon, go on a cultural tour to visit the Karamojong people. It will be a very special and different experience. Afterwards, go to the lodge for dinner and to stay overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park - Safaris Uganda

Go on a journey by car from Kidepo Valley National Park to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have lunch on the way and enjoy a game drive in the northern part of the park called Para. Afterwards, you will be taken to the lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Cruise - Safaris Uganda

Go on a morning safari on the Northern Delta Nile and you might see lions, buffalos, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi, and baboons. After you eat lunch, you will go on a boat ride on the Nile River that will last for three hours. Afterward, you will be taken to the lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 7: Top of the falls Visit and Relaxation - Safaris Uganda

o to the highest point of the Murchison falls, the Murchison falls top of the falls hike is a fun activity where you can watch birds and enjoy the amazing view of the Nile and the surrounding area in Murchison falls national park. Afterwards, we will go to the lodge to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 8: Transfer to Kibale National Park Via Sepuya Hot Springs

Go to Kibale National Park and take a break at Sempaya Hotsprings. The park is in the west of Uganda, near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is not very popular among tourists. Afterwards, you can continue your trip to Kibale National Park. Then, go to the lodge where you will have dinner and stay for the night.

Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk - Safaris Uganda

Our day begins with a breakfast in the morning before we meet our tour guide. The tour guide will give us information about finding and observing chimpanzees in the Kibale forest. Afterwards, we will walk to find the chimpanzees in Kibale National Park. There are 500 chimpanzees living there. 

The thick forests are considered the best place to see chimpanzees in Africa. The chimpanzees often eat fig tree fruits in the park. The guided walk gives you a chance to learn more about chimpanzees and other monkeys as well as the different animals of the jungle. Afterwards, go for a well-known walk in Bigodi Nature. Go back to the lodge to relax and later enjoy a campfire.

Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elisabeth National Park - Safaris Uganda

On the tenth day
Move to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Travel from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will visit Lake Katwe, which is famous in Uganda and East Africa for making a lot of salt for a long time. Afterwards, go to Queen Elizabeth National Park to go on a safari drive during the evening. Go to the lodge for dinner and to sleep there for the night.

Day 11: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga - Safaris Uganda

Have a fun time going on a drive in the morning, and then in the afternoon, take a boat ride on the Kazinga channel to see lots of different birds. This channel connects Lake George to Lake Edward. You will see different animals that live in water and creatures that live in the sea. Afterwards, go to the lodge for dinner and to stay the night.

Day 12: Transfer to Ishasha Sector

In the afternoon, you will go to Ishasha Sector. The Ishasha area is well known for the lions that climb trees. They are a popular attraction in Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the evening, you will go on a safari drive to see and enjoy animals. Later, you will go to the lodge for dinner and to stay overnight.

Day 13: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will go on a drive in the morning to play a game in the Ishasha area. Afterwards, proceed with your trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at the lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will go to the Batwa community and have a cultural experience. Afterward, go to the lodge to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 14: Gorilla Trekking

Gorilla tracking starts at 8:00 in the morning. The length of the trek to see the gorillas can be different, depending on where they stayed the night. It can range from 30 minutes to 7 hours. Once you find the gorilla family, you will get to spend one hour with them, watching them eat, interact with each other, and show off their skills. Afterwards, go to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 15: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After experiencing the adventure of gorilla trekking, Lake Bunyonyi is a incredibly beautiful lake in Uganda where you can unwind and enjoy your time. After you eat lunch, you will go on a boat ride to visit different islands in Lake Bunyonyi. You may also have fun ziplinning if you want to. Afterwards, go to the resort to have dinner and stay for the night.

Day 16: Transfer Back to Entebbe and Mabamba Shoebill Search

Begin your trip back to Entebbe by driving through hills that have step-like structures called terraces. As you go along, you will also get to enjoy the beautiful plant life in the various areas you pass by. Make a visit to the Equator line in Kayabwe. You will look for the famous Shoebill Stork in the swamp and also enjoy a tour of Entebbe city. After, go to the hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 17: Departure Day

You will have breakfast early, and then the driver will take you to Entebbe International Airport on time for your flight.
