Africa Tour and Safari Highlights

Wildlife of Uganda

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Africa Tour and Safari

Come and meet our company representative who will pick you up from your hotel well in advance in order to save time as the journey to your destination is quite far. Go from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Then, we can take a break at the Equator to stretch and have something to drink. After that, you can visit and see the traditional drums and crafts being created at this location. Get in the car and go to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is famous for its rare Mountain Gorillas. The forest also has a wide variety of other animals and plants that are really amazing. This forest has 348 different kinds of birds, so it’s a popular place for people who like to watch birds. After eating lunch, you will continue directly to the dinner location.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi - Africa Tour and Safari

After you eat your breakfast, make sure you have your lunch and water with you because you’ll be spending a long time looking for these big animals. Then, you’ll be taken to a place where they give you information about how to track gorillas before you actually start tracking them. This will happen at 8am. After giving you some information, the rangers will take you into the forest to find and follow the Mountain gorillas. They are very big but also very kind animals. Come and watch the gorillas and see how they play with each other. You can watch them for an hour and see how they are similar to humans. After that, if you have more time, you can take a walk in the community and learn about their culture. We will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi to Queen Elisabeth - Africa Tour and Safari

On the third day, we will move from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After a tasty breakfast in the morning, go to Queen Elizabeth National Park which has many beautiful lakes, forests, grasslands, and wetlands. We will go into the Ishasha area where there are lions that climb trees. If we are lucky, we will see these special lions. After that, we will go to the northern part of the park where we will sleep for the night. Eat food in the evening.

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise - Africa Tour and Safari

Get a cup of coffee and get ready to explore more of Queen Elizabeth national park. We will go on a game drive along Kasenyi tracks to look for animals like lions, cape buffalos, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, spotted hyenas, mongoose, kobs, and sometimes, if we’re lucky, we might also see a leopard. More than 606 different types of birds have been seen in this park, especially near the Kazinga channel. Come back for lunch, rest, and get ready for another fun thing to do in the afternoon. After you eat lunch, you will have a special two-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. This boat trip allows you to get really close to animals and birds so you can see them better. Have dinner and stay overnight at the same place.

Day 5: Transfer Back to Entebbe

As you see the sun come up in nature. Get up and eat your breakfast. Then leave the hotel and go to Kampala. Eat lunch on the way. When you arrive in Kampala, the safari is over.
