Day 1: Fly From Entebbe To Kidepo National Park - Budget Uganda Safari
At your hotel in Kampala, you can enjoy breakfast before being driven to the airport to catch a flight to Kidepo Valley National Park. The Apoka Airstrip in Kidepo Park will then be reached. You will then be driven to Apoka Lodge to check in and have lunch. On the lodge balcony after lunch, you can observe the wildlife of the Narus River Valley. Set out on a nighttime safari through the Narus River Valley. You have a fantastic chance to see elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and, if you’re lucky, lion, leopard, and cheetah on this trip. Stay the night and return for dinner.
Day 2: Budget Uganda Safari - Gorilla Trekking and Bunyonyi Transfer
After an early breakfast, embark on a long morning drive through Kidepo Valley National Park. You’ll see large mammals including elephant, zebra, buffalo, Bohor reedbuck, waterbuck and kongoni, while spotted hyenas, leopards and lions are also common sights. Return to your hotel for lunch, then embark on a cultural tour to learn about the Karamjong people of Karenna and Kapedo, where you will meet and interact with local elders. They will show you their customs and culture, the way of life of the nomads, their ideas about animal husbandry, clothing, jewellery, hunting material and much more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Boat Cruise at Bunyonyi and Back to Entebbe
You’ll receive breakfast at the lodge in plenty of time. After that, you can unwind or go on a nature walk with rangers to see various animals like zebras and baboons. After that, eat some snacks and lunch before going back to the airport to catch your flight to Entebbe International Airport. Your accommodation in Kampala will be picked up and transported there.
