Trekking Gorillas in Uganda Overview

 This trip will let you explore three different parks in Uganda. You can go on the Bigodi Nature Walk, where you will see many animals. You can also visit Kibale Forest and go on a trek to see chimpanzees. Another option is to go to Queen Elizabeth National Park and see more chimpanzees. The most exciting thing to do is to go trekking with endangered mountain gorillas – Trekking Gorillas in Uganda.

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park - Trekking Gorillas in Uganda

If you get to the airport on time, our driver-guide will be there to greet you and give you directions. They will also tell you some important information before you go to Post Section for lunch and a quick cultural visit. Toro Kingdom ends when it consolidates. From there, go straight to Kibale Timberland National Stop. Check in at Ndali Hold up where you have the opportunity to wake up and take a quick swim before heading to Kibali for hopping.

Day 2 Bigodi Swamp and Chimp Trekking – Trekking Gorillas in Uganda

After we eat breakfast, we will go to the stop information center. There, they will give you a quick explanation of the climbing exercises that we have done recently. Finding the monkeys can be challenging, but once you do, you will see how they interact with each other, eat, play, and socialize, which is similar to how humans behave. You will also see some other monkeys in the forest and a few birds too. After the chimpanzee walk, you will go back to the place where you are staying to change your clothes, have lunch, and get ready for a walk through Bigodi Overpower. This area is home to many different animals, plants, butterflies, and birds. You will also find a unique bird called the papyrus Gononolek. The Exceptional Blue Turaco and other types of birds. After eating dinner, go back to Ndali Lodging to relax.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elisabeth National Park 

Once you’re there, you can take a drive through the park to see all the different plants and animals that live there. There was a delay on the Mweya or Puma safari road. Once you arrive, you can check in and enjoy lunch. In the evening, you can swim in the pool and get your body ready for tomorrow’s climb.After that, have dinner and go to sleep.

Day 4: Chimpanzees trekking in KyamburaTrekking Gorillas in Uganda.

You will eat breakfast and then go to the really amazing Kyambura Forest, a part of the park where you can climb with your cousins and gorilla friends. You will spend time in the canyon and then come back for lunch. In the late evening, you will go on a final trip along the Kazinga Channel, which connects the lakes Edward and George. When you participate in this activity, you can see many different kinds of sea animals, including hippos. Once you have finished, go back to the Lodge to get changed, have a meal, and then take some rest.

Day 5: Transfer Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Trekking Gorillas in Uganda.

After you eat breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is where half of the amazing mountain gorillas live. As you journey through the Ishasa run, you will be able to see more animals and plants, including the amazing lions that can climb trees. After having lunch, you will go to your room to take a rest for the day. In the evening, you will go on a community visit, possibly with the Batwa people, to learn more about their social history. After you finish eating, go back to your accommodation – either Bwindi Hold up or Bolt in Hold up – to sleep for the night.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking and Community Walk.

Make sure to have breakfast and prepare a packed lunch because you will spend a lot of time hiking in the forest and observing the amazing and intelligent mountain gorillas. As you stroll through the misty forest, you will hear the sounds of gorillas. Even though the gorilla trek may be challenging, it is worthwhile to see the gorillas and watch how they behave. Take lots of pictures to save special memories. You will see birds and butterflies with feathers. After you finish the activity, go back to Timberland Camp, Bwindi Hold up or Ngagi Hold up for dinner and rest.

Day 7: Transfer Back To Kampala – Trekking Gorillas in Uganda

On the seventh day, we will be taking a car ride to Kampala. On the last day of your trip, pack your bags after breakfast and return to Kampala, the capital of the country. The course will show you beautiful natural scenery, mountains in the western part, and different local cultures. After finishing lunch, go to the city. In the early evening, you can choose to either go to the airport for your flight home or go to the hotel you want to stay at.
