Budget Uganda Safari Overview
Safari Uganda Gorilla – This 10-day trip in Uganda is a safari that will bring you to Murchison Falls. You will have the opportunity to see different animals during game viewing drives, climb to the top of the falls, and take a boat ride on the Victoria Nile river. After going to Kibale Forest to see chimpanzees and taking a nature walk in Bigodi, you can go to Queen Elizabeth National Park to see more animals and take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. In the end part of the safari, you will visit the Bwindi impenetrable Forest national park by passing through the Ishasha sector. Here, you can see lions that can climb trees. The final thing we will do on the trip is go Gorilla Tracking. This is when we will see the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 1: Arival at Entebbe - Safari Uganda Gorilla
When you arrive at the airport, someone from JM Jungle Safaris Uganda will be excitedly waiting to meet you and take you to your hotel in Entebbe where you will stay overnight. You will eat dinner when you arrive. You will stay at The Boma Lodge for one night before going to the stunning west side of Uganda – Safari Uganda Gorilla
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park - Safari Uganda Gorilla
Our driver will take you to Murchison Falls by driving to the northwest. We will pass by a famous place called Luwero Triangle and then continue to Masindi via the Ziwa Rhino Project. Our driver will take you to ziwa Rhino sanctuary so you can go trekking with the rhinos. After eating lunch, you will continue on to Murchison falls- Safari Uganda Gorilla
Day 3: Boat Cruise and Morning Game Drive - Safari Uganda Gorilla
In the morning, you will go for a drive to explore the area near the northern part of the river Nile. You have a really good chance of seeing elephants, lions, giraffes, hartebeest (and others) and different kinds of birds. Go have lunch and in the afternoon, you’ll go on a boat ride. You will go on a boat ride to the bottom of the falls and see how the water pushes itself out of the rocks. You will see hippos and other animals drinking water from the edge of the river. Have dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park - Safari Uganda Gorilla
Safari Uganda Gorilla – Have a delicious cup of African coffee and the driver will take you to Kibale National Park. You will be able to see nearby homes, beautiful countryside, and farms in the Albertine Rift escarpment area. The trip will take 7-8 hours by car, and once you arrive, you can go to the hotel to check-in.
Day 5: Chimp Trekking and Bigodi Swamp - Safari Uganda Gorilla
Eat your breakfast, then go to the main office for a meeting. Go into the forest to look for chimpanzees. Game rangers know exactly where to find the chimpanzees without any difficulty. Once they locate the chimpanzees, they spend one hour in their presence. Go back for lunch, then go to Bigodi swamp, which is a great place to see many different birds. Have dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elisabeth National Park - Safari Uganda Gorilla
You will begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park after you eat your breakfast in the morning. The person driving will go to the south and see the area near Crater Lake. They will see pretty scenery with hills that move up and down. There is a possibility that you might see animals from the road in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Come to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 7: Boat Cruise and Morning Game Drive - Safari Uganda Gorilla
Grab a cup of African coffee and go to the park for a ride to see animals like buffaloes, lions, and many types of birds. Go back to the lodge for lunch, after you go for a fun boat ride along the kazinga channel. During the boat ride, you will see many animals like hippos, buffalos, and elephants drinking water. At the end of the day, we go back to the lodge.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Take the coffee from Africa and then the driver will take you to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park for gorilla trekking. You will go through the Ishaha area where you can see lions that can climb trees and other animals. Have dinner and spend the night at the lodge.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi National Park
Day 9: Going to see gorillas in their natural habitat
Get a cup of coffee and go to the main office to get instructions from the game rangers. You need to bring a lunch from the lodge, plenty of water to drink, and equipment for trekking. Go into the jungle and the walking journey will begin. After they find the gorillas, the family will spend one hour with them and then go back to the lodge.
Day 10: Transfer Back to Entebbe
You will eat breakfast and then our driver will be ready to take you back to Entebbe. You will stop in Mbarara town for lunch and then go to the Uganda equator to take photos. When you arrive in Kampala, the driver will take you to either the hotel or the Entebbe international airport for your flight.
