3 Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda – Visit the endangered mountain gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On this 3-day tour, you can track mountain gorillas in the dense jungle of Bwindi, in what many travelers describe as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience.” You also have the option to visit the local Batwa Pygmy community or visit Lake Bunyoni, Uganda’s deepest and most beautiful lake dotted with several islands, each of which is of historical importance.

Day 1: Gorilla Safari in UgandaTransfer From Entebbe to Bwindi National Park - 3 Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda

The live tour will pick you up from your accommodation in Kampala early in the morning to begin your journey to the impregnable national stop of Bwindi, home to half of the endangered mountain gorillas race of the universe. The trip from Kampala to Bwindi takes 8 hours so you’ll have several stops along the way, including a stop at the equator where you’ll have the chance to take pictures and enjoy some refreshing drinks as well as African products.

The person in person will take you to one of the city’s touristy restaurants, with alternative local or continental dishes for lunch. After lunch, continue your journey, specifically continue to the Bwindi Impervious Timberland national stop and coordinate with your cargo hold, where you will check in for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Bunyonyi Transfer

After an early morning breakfast, grab a packed lunch and head to the park’s headquarters for information on gorilla trekking. After the briefing, split into groups of 8 and then head into Bwindi Forest in search of mountain gorillas. 

Normally the way to the mountain gorillas takes 1 to 8 hours. It’s a strenuous activity, of course, but again, the sight of the giant gorillas makes it fully rewarding: you can take photos and watch their different characters feed, play and socialize. You are allowed to spend a full hour with these creatures and then return to the park headquarters.
In the afternoon drive to Lake Bunyoni, a beautiful lake with several islands.

Day 3: Boat Cruise at Bunyonyi and Back to Entebbe

After an early morning breakfast, embark on a boat trip on Lake Bunyoni, visiting several islands and learning about the lake and the history of the people who live in the area. Return to your hotel, pack up and travel to Kampala with a stop at the Igongo Cultural Center for lunch and a mini tour of the center to learn more about Ankole culture. Then drive to Kampala. This can be a hotel or an airport in case you catch your return flight.
