Uganda Gorillas Safari – On this safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have an incredible five-day experience with activities such as exciting game drives, boat rides along the Kazinga Channel, and a memorable gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You can see lots of animals in Uganda, like groups of Uganda kob, elephants, waterbucks, giant forest hogs, topi, lions, hippos, hyenas, crocodiles, and different kinds of birds, including water birds, forest birds, and savanna birds.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elisabeth National Park - Uganda Gorillas Safari

Our company guide will come to get you from your hotel after you have eaten breakfast. We packed our bags and got ready to go to Queen Elizabeth National Park using the Masaka-Mbarara highway. Please stop at the equator, and then continue driving to Mbarara for lunch. After that, we can go to the park, which has amazing views of hills, lakes, and plants. Later in the day, you will go for a drive in the evening and see different animals. After you finish, please have dinner and take some rest.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel - Uganda Gorillas Safari

We will be exploring the kasenyi plains today. Wake up early and have a cup of coffee before getting in the car to drive to the kasenyi plain. We will be looking for animals like Uganda kobs, elephants, buffalos, Lions, and hyenas. We will also see the beautiful crater lakes during this activity. This drive will take about four hours. Go back to have lunch, then take a boat ride in the afternoon along the popular kazinga channel to see water animals like hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, waterbucks, elephants, monitor lizards, and birds like the African fish eagles, pied kingfishers, and cormorants that are commonly seen along the channel. Return to the lodge for dinner and have an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi - Uganda Gorillas Safari

Start your day with breakfast in the morning, then drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area, called the Ishasha sector, is well-known for its tree climbing lions. Go to Bwindi impenetrable forest. It is a home to rare mountain gorillas, birds, mammals, and other primates. In the evening, you will have dinner and sleep 

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi - Uganda Gorillas Safari

Are you excited for gorilla trekking. Start your day by eating breakfast very early. Make sure to bring your packed lunch and drinking water. Then, go to the park headquarters for a briefing. After that, you will enter the dense forest to find the beautiful gorillas. When you see them, it will be a great moment because you can see how they talk and act. After you finish your activities for the day, go back to the lodge to relax and have dinner.

Day 5: Transfer Back to Entebbe

Right after you finish eating breakfast, you go to the car to travel to Kampala. During the trip, you will have lunch along the way and stop at the equator to take some pictures. If you’re interested, you can also visit the craft shops. When you arrive in Kampala in the evening, you will be taken to the hotel where you have made a reservation. There, you will have dinner and rest.
