Uganda Tour Gorilla Overview

Uganda Tour Gorilla – This 8-day safari in Uganda will take you to the western part of the country, where you can see lots of different types of animals and beautiful views. It begins and ends in Kampala, Uganda. This safari takes place in Lake Mburo National Park, which is a big area of land with lots of animals like zebras, antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes, and more. There are also hippos, crocodiles, and birds near the lake. The park has over 332 different kinds of birds. In this park, there are also mountain gorillas. 

There are over 340 gorillas in the park, as well as lots of other animals like mammals, plants, butterflies, and more.
Another famous place is Queen Elizabeth National Park. It has many different types of animals like chimpanzees, antelopes, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, lion that can climb trees in the Ishasha area, and buffaloes. 

There are over 600 types of birds in the area, and you can see them by taking a boat ride, going on a nature walk, or driving around. Kibale National Park has 13 types of monkeys, like chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and vervet monkeys. There are also 300 different bird species in the park. Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park - Uganda Tour Gorilla

At 7:00 am, our driver/guide will come to get you in Kampala and take you to Lake Mburo National Park in the western part of the country. We will also stop on the way to take pictures at the Equator and the Mpambire drum-making area. After you eat lunch at the lodge in the park, take a drive around to see different types of animals like zebras, which are almost everywhere in the park. Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Uganda Tour Gorilla

At 6:30 am today, I started my journey to the Southwestern part of Bwindi Forest after having breakfast. I passed through Mbarara Town, which has beautiful scenery. You will also see many hills with flat areas; it’s a great drive with all these views. When you get to the park, go to the building you like and relax there for the rest of the evening while getting ready for the activity nearby. dine there – Uganda Tour Gorilla

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Community Walk - Uganda Tour Gorilla

At 6:30 am, have breakfast and then go to the park office with your lunch to get instructions from the knowledgeable park rangers. The park rangers will go with you when you go into the misty forest to hike to see mountain gorillas at 8:00 am. If your body is not strong enough, you might need a walking stick. You might want to consider giving a little money to people who can help carry your things, just to be prepared. The trek can take anywhere from two to eight hours, but you only have one hour to see and spend time with the gorillas.

After you finish your hike, go back to the resort to rest and unwind. Afterwards in the evening, take a stroll in another village, like the Batwa community. Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elisabeth National Park

Uganda Tour Gorilla – Have a good breakfast before you go to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha region. There you can see lions that can climb trees. The park has a lot of different animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, and waterbucks. After you arrive, have lunch at the lodge. Then, in the late afternoon, take a drive to see the animals and birds mentioned earlier, along with many others. After having dinner, stay overnight.

Day 5: Boat Cruise and Game Drive - Uganda Tour Gorilla

Today, you need to wake up very early because you will have breakfast at 6:00 am and then immediately begin your game drive. This is so that you can see animals like lions, lone buffalo, kobs, elephants, and others that are active in the early morning. When you can see these animals up close, it’s really great and exciting. After you finish eating, go back to the lodge to get ready for the boat ride in the afternoon on the Kazinga channel. This place has lots of different animals and birds, like crocodiles, elephants, hippos, and more. Basically, going on a boat ride on the Kazinga River is one of the most amazing things to do in the park. After you eat dinner, stay overnight at the lodge – Uganda Tour Gorilla

Day 6: Mountain Game Drive and Visit to Baboon Cliff

Have a tasty breakfast, take a drive to see animals in the morning, and visit the baboon cliffs for amazing views. After you finish eating lunch at the hotel, you should drive for about two to three hours to reach the chimpanzee home called Kibale Forest National Park. Come at a later time, eat dinner, and spend the night.

Day 7: Chimp Trekking and Bigodi Walk - Uganda Tour Gorilla

Eat breakfast early, then leave the resort and go to the park headquarters. Make sure to bring enough bottled water so you can get a good idea of what it’s like to go on a chimpanzee trek. After receiving instructions, start a guided walk through the forest around 8:00 a. m with a park ranger who carries a weapon. 

Spending time with chimpanzees in their natural environment is incomparable. You will also see other monkeys like golden monkeys, grey checked Mangabeys, L Hoests monkeys, and bush infants. You will also see many birds.
After you finish climbing, go back to the resort to have lunch. Then, in the late afternoon, go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland. You will see many different animals and birds, like the Great Blue Turaco, bush pigs, otters, and baboons, as well as other types of monkeys.

Day 8: Transfer Back to Entebbe

You will eat breakfast and then our driver will be ready to take you back to Entebbe. You will stop in Mbarara town for lunch and then go to the Uganda equator to take photos. When you arrive in Kampala, the driver will take you to either the hotel or the Entebbe international airport for your flight.
