Gorilla Safari In Uganda

Day 1: Transfer To Volcanoes Nationals National Park - Rwanda Gorilla Tour

Our Gorilla Safaris Guide will come and get you from your hotel or from Kigali International Airport and take you to Volcanoes National Park in the Musanze province. Volcanoes National Park has more than 360 mountain gorillas, and there are 7 groups of gorillas that are used to humans and can be visited by tourists.

Day 2: Mount Gorilla Trekking - Rwanda Gorilla Tour

In the morning after breakfast you will visit Kinigi Park Headquarters where the park ranger will give you a briefing. You then decide which group of gorillas you would like to hike with. At 8:30 a.m., all visitors have spread out to the different locations to start their gorilla migration. The search for mountain gorillas, which are constantly on the move, can take anywhere from one to six hours on a trek. Once you spot them, you have an hour to stay with them and take a picture. Then return to the parked car to continue with the next available program.
After the meal you will have the opportunity to visit the Ibylwaku Cultural Village. After that, return home, have dinner there and stay the night there.

Day 3:Transfer Back To Kigali - Rwanda Gorilla Tour

After breakfast return to Kigali. Your guide can show you around the city, including a visit to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial and the local handicraft market. You will then be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight home.
