Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Our guide for Gorilla Safaris will come get you from either the Kigali international airport or your hotel in Kigali. They will then take you on a tour of Kigali City before bringing you to Musanze province. This is where you will find Volcanoes national park, which is where the mountain Gorillas live. You will go to the front desk of your lodge to check in for dinner and to stay there for the night.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer Back to Kigali - Rwanda Safari Gorilla

After eating breakfast in the morning, you will go to the Volcanoes National Park office where they will give you instructions about the Gorilla trekking rules. Then, you can begin the Gorilla trek by walking through the bamboo forests. It may take you 1-5 hours to find the Gorillas. After that, you may spend another 1 hour watching them before leaving for Kigali. Our guide will then take you to your hotel or to the Airport if you have a late departure flight.
