Mountain Gorillas Rwanda Overview

This extraordinary 4-day experience in Rwanda offers the opportunity for once in a lifetime natural life experiences. You’ll track chimpanzees and spot monkeys, primates and other natural life in Nyungwe National Stop. Trekking profound into the woodlands of Parc National des Volcans, you’ll rummage around for imperiled mountain gorillas with master nearby officers. Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport - Mountain Gorillas Rwanda

When you arrive at Kigali International Airport and finish going through customs, your guide will invite you and then take you in a car to your accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

After you eat breakfast, you should leave for Parc National des Volcanoes. You can decide to take a flight to the park. When you fly, you will take a special private flight from Akagera to Volcanoes National Park. The trip goes through the lovely sloping hills that show a lot of Rwanda’s land. It goes higher and higher until it reaches the base of the impressive Virunga volcanoes. Sometimes you can even see up to five mountain peaks. You can either relax in the afternoon or explore the town of Ruhengeri.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest

After you eat breakfast, you will drive to Ruhengeri. You will have a great time during your trip by visiting the mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. An experienced Ranger Guide will lead you and share interesting facts about the gorillas. Afterwards, you will go see the people who take care of the gorillas.

Day 4: Transfer to Akagera National Park - Mountain Gorillas Rwanda

Today, you will go to Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, by driving. Take pleasure in the lovely view along the journey. When you come to Kigali for a tour of the city, you will go to the Genocide Museum in a place called Gisozi, which is outside the main part of the city. In the evening, leave for the Airport and take your flight back home.
