Day 1: Arrival in Akagera National Park Rwanda Gorillas

Your adventure begins as our knowledgeable guides pick you up from the airport or your hotel. They will provide you with a detailed briefing about the upcoming journey. From there, you will be transported directly to Akagera National Park, a scenic two-hour drive from Kigali. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a delightful lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a memorable boat ride on the tranquil waters of Lake Ihema.

Day 2: Full Day Exploring Akagera National Park – Rwanda Gorillas

Daybreak calls for an early morning game drive as you set out to explore the park’s diverse wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for magnificent animals, including lions, elephants, buffalos, and Masai giraffes, among others. Return to the lodge for a satisfying lunch. In the afternoon, continue your wildlife quest with another exhilarating game drive. Seek out a variety of animals, from graceful gazelles and impalas to playful baboons, agile oribis, elusive leopards, and bushbucks. You may also spot elands, topis, bush babies, and the striking butchel’s zebra.

Day 3: Return to Kigali – City Tour – Rwanda Gorillas

After breakfast, bid farewell to Akagera as you embark on your journey back to Kigali. In the city, engage in a captivating city tour that includes a visit to the museum and the poignant Rwanda Genocide Memorial Site. Reflect on the history and resilience of the Rwandan people as you pay tribute to those who lost their lives. Conclude your tour with a delectable lunch in Kigali.
