Have an experience in Kibale National Park doing chimpanzee trekking, seeing other 10 primates, butterflies and many bird species, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Gorilla trekking and relax at Lake Bunyonyi called the Switzerland of Africa doing different activities.
We start with an early morning departure for Kibale Forest. We will pass close to Lake Albert. On a clear day, the view from the top of the Albert Rift is spectacular. In the afternoon we will arrive at Kibale Forest, and in the evening we fall asleep to the sounds of the tropical rainforest.
At 8 am, we will start with the 4-hour chimp walk after a pre-briefing. Also, 10 other primates can be seen. The park is also known for all its butterflies and birds. In the afternoon, we leave for Bwindi impenetrable National Park through fort portal. The scenic routes passes mountains, hills, lakes with cultivated terraces, tropical rainforest and bamboo forest. Upon arrival we will spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the lodge. We will make stopovers to experience great scenaries along the route.
Today you will do the gorilla tracking. At 7.45 am, you will be at the office of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a pre-briefing and at 8.30 am, you will start the trek. After finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them. All visitors are expected back at the starting point by 7 pm. Being physically fit is recommended.
After the challenging and strenuous hike in Bwindi the previous day, some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake are most welcome. The options here are birding, nature walks, swimming or canoeing. You can decide on which activity to undertake on this day.
Early morning the last part of the journey will bring us to Entebbe Airport. On the way back after Masaka there will be an opportunity to stop at the equator for photo shoots, buying souvenirs and have lunch. We will bring you directly to Entebbe airport.
