Arrive at the airport or hotel and meet our tour driver (guide) for the trip to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is one of Uganda's largest and most popular National Parks, recognized for its rich wildlife, which includes lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes, and several bird species. It is also the location of the Nile River and the world-famous Murchison Falls, where the Nile River rushes through a tight valley before dropping 43 meters into a lake below. Enjoy the close-up view of hippos and Nile crocodiles.
You will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on way to Murchison Falls National Park for your first Big Five encounter, which will include an hour of rhino tracking. Continue to the park and check into your accommodation.
After breakfast, go on a morning game drive in the park in search of creatures such as elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalo, and hartebeest. There are lots of bird species to witness along the route for anybody interested in birding, including the secretive shoe bill stork, white-thigh hornbill, and dwarf kingfisher, among others.
Return to your lodging to recover and eat your lunch. Following lunch, you'll take a boat journey to the foot of Murchison Falls, where you'll get the chance to witness more wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds. Return to your lodging and unwind.
This morning, after breakfast, it's time to board the truck and journey to the top of Murchison Falls. The Nile water condenses into a tiny valley below, creating a tremendous boom and a stunning rainbow. If that's not your thing, spend the morning on a transfer game drive to see additional animals including giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants. Today, the final day of the journey, you will travel back to Entebbe with a lunch break.
