Wilderness Overview

Tarangire National Park is a captivating wilderness in northern Tanzania, celebrated for its dramatic baobab-studded landscapes, seasonal wetlands, and remarkable concentrations of wildlife. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, an important source of water that becomes especially vital during the dry season, drawing animals from across the surrounding ecosystem.
