Planning and Booking Uganda Safaris — Terms & Conditions
These terms describe how JM Jungle Safaris handles safari inquiries, proposals, reservations, and travel services. Your final booking confirmation and supplier terms may contain additional trip-specific conditions.
1. Our Services
We design and coordinate Uganda safari itineraries, including destinations, activities, guides, accommodation, transfers, domestic flights, and wildlife permits where requested. A website package is an invitation to inquire, not a confirmed reservation.
2. Inquiries, Proposals, and Confirmation
Submit accurate traveler details, dates, interests, and requirements through the journey form. We will prepare a proposal for your review. No itinerary is confirmed until you accept the written proposal, the required deposit or payment is received, and we confirm availability in writing.
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are date-specific, limited, and subject to Uganda Wildlife Authority availability. We will not describe a permit as confirmed until the relevant confirmation has been issued.
3. Prices and Payment
Safari prices are quoted in USD unless your proposal states otherwise. Prices depend on dates, party size, accommodation, permits, transport, flights, and supplier availability. The proposal will identify inclusions, exclusions, payment deadlines, and cancellation charges. Online payments, where enabled, are processed by the selected payment provider; we do not store full card details.
4. Traveler Responsibilities
- Provide accurate passport, health, age, dietary, accessibility, and emergency-contact information.
- Obtain required passports, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, and health advice before departure.
- Follow guidance from guides, park authorities, lodges, and permit officials.
- Respect wildlife, communities, conservation rules, and the laws of Uganda.
5. Changes, Delays, and Force Majeure
Wildlife, weather, roads, permits, flights, public-health events, government restrictions, and other circumstances beyond reasonable control may require an itinerary change. We will work with you and our suppliers to provide a reasonable alternative. Supplier-specific terms may apply to flights, lodges, permits, and activities.
