21 Days Uganda Safari -From Entebbe to Northern Uganda, and then all the way to the east and South Western regions before returning back to Entebbe. This journey will give you a chance to view approximately 70% of the beautiful places to visit in Uganda. Day 1: Pick up From Entebbe – 21 Days Uganda Safari

Upon reaching Entebbe international Airport, you will be met by one of the experienced Shoebill safaris who will be so excited to welcome you. Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls – 21 Days Uganda Safari

After breakfast, take a drive Northwest of Kampala. You will have a stop en route at the Rhino sanctuary. Continue to Murchison falls national park. Murchison is an expansive land mass about 3,840 square kilometers in size. It hosts 76 different types of mammals and over 450 different types of birds. It is 619 meters away from the delta and 1,292 meters away from Rabongo Hill. The temperature here is always cold at 0 degrees Celsius and warmer at 21 degrees Celsius – 21 Days Uganda Safari

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise – 21 Days Uganda Safari

After early breakfast, we then proceeded to the morning drive for some plays. You are able to see special animals of the savannah of Africa such as giraffes, lions, elephants, and different kinds of antelopes. In the afternoon, we are going to sail down to the bottom of the falls. The waterfalls are very special and breathtaking. Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park – 21 Days Uganda Safari

After breakfast, we can visit the top of the falls for a wonderful view. One can see as close as possible to the water when it splashes and pushes through the rocks on its way down to the bottom of the falls and then come back. Day 5: Chimp Tracking-21 Days Uganda Safari

After breakfast, you can do chimp tracking. The activity costs $150 per person starting July 2020 and $200 per person before that. You will meet Chimpanzees, closely related to human beings. There are a number of types of birds within this forest. If you are a keen birder, you will see a good number of different kinds of birds. There are several monkeys that constantly jump from one tree to another as you approach near to them. Have lunch at the lodge, then later in the afternoon, visit Tooro palace which is located close to Fort portal town. Learn about the Tooro culture and if possible see the youngest king.

Fort Portal contains very many cultural places and attractive lakes showing the history of the past. After having your breakfast, go to the famous Mabereganyinamwiru and see the milk that the locals say comes out of a woman’s breasts after she was thrown into that valley. Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elisabeth National Park -21 Days Uganda Safari

In the morning after breakfast, we will proceed to Queen Elisabeth National Park. We might visit the local inhabitants living in the park as well. Day 8: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel – 21 Days Uganda Safari

After having tea or coffee, embark on a morning drive in the big park in the pursue of any hunting cats out for their early trap, elegant groups of elephants, antelopes, buffalos, and many more. Return to the camp for a heavy breakfast. You have some free time thereafter. After lunch, have an afternoon boat ride on the famous Kazinga channel. The tour boat drive will offer you sight of Hippos in groups, buffalos, and different kinds of pretty water birds like jacanas, fish eagles, shoebills, and pelicans. Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi National Park – 21 Days Uganda Safari

After breakfast, drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in Ishasha, where you have a chance to see climbing lions. Visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the gorillas—like human beings. This very thick forest is one of the most untouched and beautiful tropical rainforests in East Africa. Day 10 – Gorilla Trekking – 21 Days Uganda Safari

Today, after breakfast, we shall meet to share an overview of the day`s activity. After that, we will embark on a guided gorilla trek where the guides will lead us to a given area where the gorillas are. This activity is at an extra cost of $600 per person and from July 2020 the price is to be $700. If time allows, we can also have a special experience of viewing chimps at $1500 extra. 

In the evening, an optional community walk shall be available for a feel of the surrounding community, which is followed by some entertainment around the fire. The habitat of the gorillas is Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The gorillas share some similarities with human beings as well as being the giants in the forest. This very thick forest remains one of the virgin untouched tropical rainfalls in East Africa.

Day 11: Transfer to Chahafi – 21 Days Uganda Safari

Have breakfast and embark on the drive to Kisoro; proceed until you reach Lake Chahafi. In the afternoon, you may relax and have free time or opt to take a canoe ride. Lake Chahafi Resort is situated 20 minutes from Kisoro town in a beautiful, virgin natural environment. On three sides, the facility is surrounded by hills, while on the fourth side, the facility faces a tall peak called Mt Muhavura. Spend a day in serenity away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town at the lake, or enjoy a warm evening by the fireplace in the bar

Day 12: Golden Monkey Trekking – 21 Days Uganda Safari

Have breakfast and then proceed to Mgahinga National Park. You will have an option to take part in the Golden Monkey Tracking activity at an extra fee of $90 per person. After that, proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. Bunyonyi Lake is a very deep lake offering an ideal site where you can relax and have fun. In case you need a quiet, secluded, and romantic place, then Lake Bunyonyi is the best in Uganda. Day 13: Drive To Rukungiri – 21 Days Uganda Safari

After breakfast, take a drive to Rukungiri. Check in for a few days and spend time with people in the Community. Join our home stay Tours and join a regular House in Uganda, learn their Culture and how they live. There are lots of activities you could do to get some fun.

Day 14 – 17: Home Stay-21 Days Uganda Safari

Take our safaris for a home stay experience. Get to a normal home in Uganda, See the culture of these people and how they live. Numerous activities can be done as part of the experience like ; milking cows, turning milk into butter, gardening; grinding millet to make flour, cooking food using firewood, making banana juice, and much more. You could join the local women in basket making, mat weaving, tablecloths, and other crafts. 

While you are working along with these women, you spare some time to listen to traditional songs and stories voiced by the community. At night, some activities are conducted that present the culture of the locale, making you unwind and relax after a tiring day at work. You can also volunteer at a local primary school and hospital, take walks to the natural hot spring, or simply drive around the village.

Day 18: Drive to Lake Mburo – 21 Days Uganda Safari

After breakfast we start our drive towards Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo differs from the other parks in having plenty of wildlife that can be seen. This national park has animals like zebras, elands, and impalas that you typically can’t find in other national parks in Uganda. Day 19: Lake Mburo National Park – 21 Days Uganda Safari

You will wake up very early in the morning and go for a nature walk. Later, you will retire back to your accommodation, where you will be served a tremendous breakfast. Still, in the morning, you will go for a boat ride on the lake. In the afternoon, you will visit the animal attendant’s village within the Game Park to learn a bit about their culture. Having tea in the morning, you will start your journey back to Entebbe. You will really like the green scenery on the way, and you can also see the famous Ankole long horned cattle.
