Honey Moon Safari Overview

The journey starts at Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is an excellent property located at the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1-2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Honey Moon Safari
On the first day of your honeymoon, when you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a very important person will welcome you. You will fly to Lake Manyara Airport and then take a shared car ride to Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp. This property is located on the eastern edge of the crater, under the shade of acacia trees. The lounge and dining areas are in a traditional mess tent.
There’s a veranda where you can relax and enjoy the views. You will sleep in one of the camp’s 12 Meru-style tents. Each tent has a cozy bedroom with a seating area, a bathroom with a shower, and a private outdoor space. The Lemala Ngorongoro is the nearest place to stay near the crater. This means that if you wake up early on Day 2, you will get a special tour of the crater floor with an expert guide when it is the quietest time of the day. The Big Five, which are the lion, rhino, leopard, elephant, and buffalo, are some of the main animals you can see. There are also many other smaller animals and lots of birds to see as well. You can take walks around the edge of the crater and in the forest at the camp.
Day 3-5: Serengeti National Park - Honey Moon Safari
On the third day of your trip, you will travel by car with others from Lemala Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara Airport. From there, you will take a flight to Kogatende Airstrip in the North Serengeti. Once you get there, you will take another shared ride to Lemala Mara. This camp is located near the River Mara and is surrounded by euclea trees. It is a great place to stay if you want to follow the herds during the Great Migration.
The lounge and dining areas are in big tents with fancy furniture. There is also a place with fire where you can relax after a day on safari. There are 12 tents for guests here. Each tent has a cozy bedroom and living area, as well as a nice private deck. These tents are similar to the ones at Lemala Ngorongoro. Watching the many wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles that make up the Great Migration as they move towards the northern part of the Serengeti in search of food is one of the best things to do at Lemala Mara. You will likely see many large cats and crocodiles waiting in the Mara River for an unprotected plant-eater. Additionally, there are many different types of birds.

Day 6-10: Zanzibar Honey Moon Safari
After your stay at Lemala Mara, it’s time for you to go to the beach. You will fly from Zanzibar’s international airport to Kogatende Airstrip after sharing a ride from the camp. Upon your arrival, you will be driven to Breezes Beach Club & Spa. This resort is located on a pretty beach on the island’s Michamvi Peninsula. There is a place where you can go to relax and take care of your body. It has a pool, gym, tennis court, and spa. There are also many places to eat and drink.
We have picked a nice room for you with a bedroom, bathroom, and outdoor area with a beautiful view of the garden. At Breezes, you can enjoy a variety of fun water activities like diving, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, and sailing. You can choose to ride a bike around the island, which is a fantastic way to see some of the top attractions in Zanzibar, like Stone Town and Jozani Forest. Instead, you can choose to relax on the beach during the final days of your honeymoon.
