In just 11 days, our Holiday Africa & Zanzibar travel adventure will show you the beautiful sights of Tanzania. To fully enjoy your time in Tanzania, it is best to plan in advance. Whether you like going on an African safari or just want to relax on Zanzibar’s tropical beaches, there’s something for everyone
During this 6-day Tanzania safari, you will go to two pretty parks in the northern part of Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Crater is a very popular place for many tourists. Come and see Tarangire National Park, where you can find a wide variety of animals, including the famous Big Five. If you like elephants, you should go to Tarangire National Park. This place is famous for its amazing baobab trees and has the largest number of elephants in the world.

Day 1: Arive in Arusha - Holiday Africa

Tanzania is happy to have you. When you arrive at Kilimanjaro airport, your Tanzania Specialist guide will be there to meet you and take you to your first hotel. You can spend the rest of the day in Arusha however you like.
This safari is unique and exclusive. No matter if you like mornings or not, discuss your plans with your guide on the first day.
Your trip to explore Tanzania will start the next morning.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park - Holiday Africa

After a good night’s sleep in your fancy hotel in Arusha, your guide will come and take you in the morning and drive you to Tarangire National Park. You will spend the whole day looking at and observing different animals in the park. Tarangire National Park is a very real and genuine safari spot in Tanzania. It is not as crowded with tourists as other places nearby. You can see groups of up to 300 elephants drinking or playing in the mud near the Tarangire River. This river has the most elephants in the world.
There are a couple of reasons why you should get your cameras ready for Tarangire. There are many interesting things to see in Tanzania. You can find rolling hills with large Baobab trees under a beautiful blue sky. You can also see lots and lots of wild African animals.

Day 3-4: Serengeti National Park - Holiday Africa

Today, your trip to the Serengeti National Park is still happening. The beautiful scenery in this national park has been shown in famous nature documentaries, making it one of Africa’s most famous national parks. It is simple to see why. The vast grasslands and large numbers of animals on the Serengeti are unmatched. The yearly Great Wildebeest Migration is a remarkable event with more than one million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles moving from one place to another.

You will look for groups of animals with your own guide as you travel across the flatlands. Besides the animals that move from one place to another, you will see different types of animals from Tanzania. Prepare to be amazed by the incredible beauty of Africa’s most well-known park, where you can find lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many other animals.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Holiday Africa

On day 5 of your Tanzania safari, you will begin with a ride on a private road to the well-known Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Another popular place in Tanzania that is full of amazing animals, this volcano that has fallen down creates a special environment with many different types of plants. After you reach the top of the Ngorongoro Crater, your knowledgeable guide will lead you down to the floor of the crater.
Experience the awe-inspiring views of Africa at its finest, showcasing elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and if you’re fortunate, the elusive black rhino. 

This is one of the greatest locations in Africa to witness all five of the continent’s Big Five animals. The Ngorongoro Crater is considered one of the most beautiful natural places in Africa and is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the continent.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area has many other things you can do, like visiting a traditional Masai village. Would you like to visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania during your travels. It is highly recommended.

Day 6-10: Zanzibar - Holiday Africa

The last part of your trip is for resting, relaxing, and feeling reenergized. After you eat breakfast, someone will come get you and get you ready to relax and have fun on the calm and relaxed beaches of the tropical island of Zanzibar. Zanzibar is like a perfect and beautiful place on our planet. There are very long beaches with white sand and palm trees, all around by the clear blue water of the Indian Ocean.
Enjoy the remaining few days of your adventure in Tanzania at your own pace. You can go see the amazing coral reefs and swim with lots of colorful fish. You can also go surfing or just relax and enjoy the sun with a coconut drink. This is where you can find out more information about Zanzibar Island.

Day 11: Departure - Holiday Africa

Today, you can either relax or go out and explore, depending on your flight. Your driver will bring you to Kilimanjaro Airport so you can catch your flight home on the 11th day.
