Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park - Chimp Trekking Uganda
If you start at Murchison Falls National Park, the driver guide will pick you up and take you to Kibale Forest National Park. On the way, you’ll go through the Lake Albert cliffs and see wonderful views of the lake and other interesting things. You will eat lunch in Hoima and then go to Kibale forest, where you can take pictures of the beautiful surroundings. When you arrive, you will go to see the area with the crater lakes. After that, you will go to the hotel to check-in and spend the night there.
Day 2: Chimp Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elisabeth - Chimp Trekking Uganda
Have breakfast in the morning, attend a meeting or briefing, and then go into the forest to hike and see the chimps. If you spend a whole hour searching for them, you will see that they are definitely connected to humans. There will be other types of monkeys in the forest with the chimps. Go to the lodge for lunch. After that, pack your bags and go to Queen Elizabeth in the afternoon. It will take around three hours. You will see animals as you get closer to the park and also inside the park. When you arrive, please check in for dinner and to stay the night.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the falls - Chimp Trekking Uganda
You will drink a hot cup of tea and then go on a morning drive to see animals that wake up early on the kasenyi track. You might see animals like lions, elephants, buffalo, kobs, antelopes, and many others. Go back to the lodge for breakfast and lunch, and then go on a boat ride along the Kazinga channel. You will be able to see many different types of birds during the ride. Go back to the lodge for your dinner and to spend the night.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Travel to Bwindi impenetrable national park to see the mountain gorillas up close. This morning, you will eat breakfast and then get into your car to go to your next place. We will go to the Ishasha sector because it’s where we have a good chance of seeing the famous tree climbing lions. During the trip, you will stop to eat lunch and then go to the park to check in. After that, you will have dinner and spend the night there.
Day 5: Gorillas and Batwa Experience
After eating your tasty breakfast, you will hop in the car and drive to the briefing center to learn more about what will happen in the forest. You should make sure you have a full breakfast beforehand. After that, go to the forest to look for the primates. The rangers will help you find them. You can spend an hour with the primates, watching how they interact with each other. Afterwards, you will go to the lodge to get ready and then go for the Batwa walk in the evening. You can enjoy their lively dances and the different activities they do to earn a living. Go back to the lodge for dinner and relax for the evening at the same lodge.
Day 6: Transfer Back to Entebbe
Get your stuff ready and go to the dining area for breakfast. After that, be prepared to go to Kampala for lunch. On the way, we will stop in Mbarara town. If you want, we can also visit the equator. You will reach Kampala in the evening when your safari is almost over.
Day 7: Transfer Back to Entebbe
Grab a cup of coffee from Africa and head towards Kampala. The driver will drive slowly so you can see more animals when you go back. After having lunch in Kampala, the driver will take you either to the airport or the hotel. The 7-day Uganda safari has come to an end.
