Day 1: Arrival at Kigali -6 Days Rwanda Safaris

On arrival at Kigali International Airport after clearing formalities, you are received by your guide and welcomed to Rwanda. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may choose to visit Wildlife of Rwanda or proceed to have a real Rwandan Experience.

This morning, after a good breakfast, proceed to Kigali Airport for your private charter flight to Akagera National Park. During the flight, there is an optional view from the air of the scenic beauty of the park.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema – 6 Days Rwanda Safari

Experience a memorable boat cruise along the edge of Lake Ihema, with beautiful vegetation consisting of many trees. You will see numerous gigantic hippos in this area, some of which will be submerged halfway in the water, while others are basking along the shore. Opportunity to eye a variety of crocodiles, some in the shallow part of the water and others basking themselves on land from the shoreline. Day 4: Flight to Volcanoes National Park – 6 Days Rwanda Safari

After breakfast, we drive to Parc National des Volcans, Volcanoes National Park. This part of your trip is by a charter flight from Akagera to Volcanoes National Park. You will view the land with its fine rolling hill sides, characteristic of the land of a thousand hills, the country of Rwanda in general. As you ascend you shall come with gradations of altitude to gaze at the wondrous Virunga volcanoes. On some days you will be able to view all of five peaks.

This afternoon you will arrive at Volcanoes National Park, where the rest of your afternoon shall be spent at leisure so as to get some relaxation and take in the surroundings. Alternatively, you may wish to take a study tour of Ruhengeri town as a way to get a feel for a local town.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking – 6 Days Rwanda safari

After breakfast, you wil be transferred to Kihihi Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe. With the aerial view, you will have a good view of southwestern Uganda with hills, green vegetation, and farming sceneries that are always attended by the local inhabitants. Day: 6 Return to Kigale for your flight out – 6 Days Rwanda Safari

This last day of such an incredible journey will host you on a private charter flight to Kigali. Upon arrival in the capital city, you will be driven for a visit to one of the major historical landmarks: the Genocide Museum, detailing the story of the Rwandan Genocide, with a review that it is a solemn and important memorial to the events.

Afterward, you can enjoy a brief city tour around Kigali, which will introduce you briefly to the city’s lively cultural existence.

Unless you have missed the banana wine-making or the coffee master class yesterday, you can do either today to complement your cultural experience.
