After a short briefing about your safari, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and spectacular wildlife destinations.The journey takes you through picturesque landscapes—lush countryside, traditional homesteads, and rolling hills—offering plenty of photo stops along the way. You’ll have lunch en route in Mbarara before continuing your journey toward the park.As you approach Queen Elizabeth National Park, you may catch sight of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains in the distance and the sparkling waters of Lake George and Lake Edward. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi NP. On your way, you will take a drive
though Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for its tree-climbing lions.
After the drive you will immediately proceed to Bwindi and you will have lunch along the
way.
Overnight: Buhoma community rest camp.
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable
National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You
are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you
can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest.
After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the
forest where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants. A rain gear is important
considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. You will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi
where you will take a swim in Uganda’s most beautiful lake or take a walk to enjoy nature
and explore surrounding communities.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before starting your drive back to Entebbe. En route, stop at the
Equator line for photos, souvenir shopping, and a coffee break. Depending on your flight
schedule, you can enjoy a Soul Set Sundowner or a Cultural Soul Night experience in
Entebbe. We therefore recommend planning for a late-night flight or an extra night’s stay to make the most of this final evening.
