Transfer to Ruaha National Park. You'll be picked up from the hotel or airport and then depart for Ruaha National Park. It will take 3 hours to reach the park's main entrance. This is followed by lunch upon arrival. Afterwards, have game drives until late sunset. Dinner and your overnight stay will be in the park.
Enjoy game viewing in Ruaha National Park on a full day of safari starting with a sunrise game drive. Have breakfast in the bush then drive until lunch at the camp. Game viewing will concentrate on the great Ruaha Riverbank, Mwagusi Sand River and Mdonya River, ending with a sunset wilderness game drive to sunset. Dinner and your overnight stay will be inside the park.
After an early breakfast, have a sunrise game drive in Ruaha National Park. See hippos, leopards, waterbucks, and many more wild animals. Then drive back to Iringa, for a rest in the hotel or fly back to Dar es Salaam.

Ruaha is one of Tanzania’s largest parks and home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, kudu, and hippos. It’s also an excellent place for birdwatching, with over 570 species recorded.
The park is open all year, but the best wildlife viewing is during the dry season (June to October) when animals gather near water sources. The green season (November to April) is great for birdwatching and lush scenery.
From Iringa, it’s about 2–3 hours’ drive.
From Dar es Salaam, it takes about 8–9 hours by road or 1 hour by flight to Msembe Airstrip inside the park.
