This 12-day safari will allow you to explore the best parks Tanzania has to offer. You will be able to visit both famous parks in the northern circuit and the hidden gem of Tanzania in the Southern circuit. There will be thousands of animals, birds, and plants to see as well as beautiful landscapes from the savannah in the Serengeti, Highlands in Ngorongoro to Miombo Woodland in Ruaha National Park.
You will be picked up from the airport by a Sunday Safaris representative and driven directly to Kiboko Lodge. On this day, you will relax and enjoy the undisturbed Kiboko Lodge environment as you prepare yourself for the coming days. You will get the whole tour briefing after arriving at the lodge.
After breakfast, you will be picked up by our safari guide who will drive you to Serengeti National Park. On the way to Serengeti National Park, you will drive through the East African Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will drive through the savannah and Ngorongoro Highlands where you will be able to see Maasai villages and great landscapes.
After arriving in Serengeti National Park, you will find yourself between big herds of zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and more than 400 different species of birds that roam free in this wildlife paradise. Serengeti is one of the most well-known parks in the world. It is home to both big animals like elephants and small animals like dik-diks.
After the game drive, you will drive to Pure Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

The great migration is in Serengeti where big herds of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes migrate between Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and Serengeti in Tanzania searching for green pasture and water.
Serengeti National Park has great landscapes which are covered by short grass and beautiful acacia trees as well as Kopjes rocks. Because it's the home of African big cats, Serengeti offers a great opportunity to see how predator hunt their prey. This cannot be spotted easily unless you are lucky.

Today you will have an early breakfast while enjoying the sunrise in this beautiful National park. After breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
Ngorongoro Crater is a volcano that collapsed about two million years ago and later became the home of different species of animals and birds. Big animals like rhinos, elephants, and zebras made the crater their home. Big Cats like lions can be easily spotted on this beautiful World Heritage Site. After the game drive in the Crater, you will drive to Karatu town for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will drive to Dodoma town which is directly in the center of Tanzania and the capital of the country. Dodoma town is important politically as it is the capital of the country. Though Dodoma is a small town, it is the only region in Tanzania where grapes are grown.
After breakfast, you will drive to Ruaha National Park. You will stop at Iringa town for lunch before you continue to Ruaha National Park.
If there is a national park that explains the true hidden gems of Tanzania is Ruaha National Park. The park covers 20,226 sq km (7,809 sq mi). Ruaha is famous for its unique wildlife like kudu, roan antelopes, as well as big herds of elephants. Ruaha has a few number of tourists compared to other parks. This is due to its location. Ruaha gives you the true meaning of safari as animals will alone surround you in an undisturbed nature.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be in Ruaha Cottage.
After breakfast which you will enjoy with the view of the Great Ruaha River, you will start a game drive along the river where you will see rare animals like kudu. You will do a game drive until lunch time when you will drive back to Ruaha Cottage for a hot lunch. After lunch, you will have a short break and continue with the game drive until the evening.
You will have dinner and an overnight stay in Ruaha Cottage.
Today you will have an early morning breakfast followed by a walking safari. The walking safari will be along the Great Ruaha River and will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for a safety reason as you will walk close to Wild animals like giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and zebras.
Once you're done with the walking safari, you will drive back to the cottage for a hot lunch. After that, you will do a game drive.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be in Ruaha Cottage.
After breakfast, you will drive to Dodoma. You will take a short break in Iringa town for a hot lunch.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Morena Hotel. Dodoma is a small town and the only region where grapes grow in Tanzania. As it is located right in the center of the country, Dodoma is important politically in Tanzania.
After breakfast, you will drive to Arusha town. On this day you will have an opportunity to visit local markets on the way. Most of the local markets are only once or twice a week but will depend on the day you will be travelling. Once in Arusha, you will drive directly to Kiboko Lodge.
This is the end of the tour. You will be driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport depending on your next destination. For those who will take their flight back home, we would appreciate it if they share with us their flight details so that we can arrange a pick-up time from the lodge.
