After settling in, you'll enjoy a guided discovery walk through the area. It’s the perfect way to soak up the Tanzanian atmosphere and begin your cultural immersion with local hospitality.
You'll wake up early for a full-day safari in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its giant baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. As you drive across its golden savannahs, watch giraffes nibbling on acacia, spot prides of lions resting in the shade, and admire over 500 bird species. In the evening, you'll relax at MotoCottage, a cozy base surrounded by the sounds of the bush.
You'll descend into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Home to lions, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos, and even the rare black rhino, the crater offers one of the densest concentrations of wildlife on earth. After spending the morning with Maasaï, you will get back to Arusha for lunch. You'll enjoy a refreshing tour to reach the Napuru waterfall, a hidden gem cascading from Mount Meru. You'll cool off with a swim in its crystal-clear waters and unwind in nature’s embrace. You'll return to your accommodation for warm, traditional dishes by our cook and genuine Tanzanian hospitality.
Immerse yourself in local life with a day dedicated to human connection. You'll visit a traditional Tanzanian village, share meals with families, and witness daily life up close. You'll head to Materuni village, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. You'll explore coffee plantations, take part in a traditional coffee-making ceremony, and taste one of the freshest brews you’ll ever have. Later, you'll unwind at Chemka hot springs, a natural oasis with turquoise waters shaded by fig trees—a true paradise for relaxation. Your overnight stay will be at the homestay.
After breakfast, you'll transfer to the airport for your short flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you'll head to Reef & Beach Resort, nestled between coconut palms and the Indian Ocean. You'll enjoy your first evening on the island with a cocktail in hand and the ocean breeze on your face.
You'll spend the next four days at leisure, and relaxation is scheduled. If you need to combine relaxation and exploration, it is possible (extra).
