Today, you will be picked from the airport or your hotel and journey to mabamba wetland for shoe bill trekking along with other birds on the shores of Lake Victoria.
After this encounter, embark on your journey to lake Mburo national park western Uganda for another thrilling experience. Driving through rolling hills, valleys and scenic landscapes and meeting local people trying to earn a living in Uganda will leave you amazed as you approach the park, the view of Ankole cattle farms and open savannah woodlands is amazing too. Today, wake up early morning for breakfast, have a packed lunch or snack and your drive will drop you at the information center for a briefing and join other trekkers in a gorilla family. You will be handed walking sticks and incase of any assistances needed, the porters are always available for hire at a small fee of $20, they help in carrying the bags and lay a hand in steep slopes.
Guided by expert trackers and armed rangers, you will vanish into the jungle. The trek could take 2-7 hours, but when you finally see those gorillas, it will be a face-to-face experience for 1 hour observing gorillas in their nature habitat.

In the morning after breakfast, drive to the parks' headquarters for briefing, you will be given a ranger guide to take you through trekking procedure and hiring a porter in case you need assistance, drive to the trekking point, vanish into jungle to look for golden striking fur monkeys, spend I hour observing their Playful behaviors flipping in trees. It's an exciting moment watching monkey’s move all over in their natural habitat. It takes 1 to 3 hours trekking the golden monkeys.
After this thriving activity, visit Dian Fossey Gorilla fund and witness her conservation efforts and gorilla awareness, later after relaxations at the lodge, journey to gorilla guardian village, listen to their stories, participate in their cultural ceremonies, enjoy folk songs and dance their traditional music by the traditional troupe.
